Day 10

This morning it was so hard to wake up! Honestly the only reason I got up was because Destinee was on her way over to do yoga. I was really hoping that she would cancel, but I was really glad afterwards that she didn't. Sadly, she's bailing on working out in the morning and then she is leaving for Spring Break, so I'm on my own for a whole week! Luckily Kylla said that she would go to the gym with me next week, which is exciting! Anyways back to today... Destinee and I were both completely burnt out so we just did the relaxing yoga workout. It was good to stretch everything though, since I was sore from yesterday. I also did a few triangle push-ups this afternoon (Ouch!). For breakfast I had turkey, mozzarella, and jalapeno scramble (with skim milk for "fluff"), and chai tea. For a mid morning snack I had cream of wheat with berries and almonds, and drank green tea. For lunch I had left over baked penne. As an afternoon snack I had a berry and green tea smoothie. For dinner I made chicken noodle soup! It had vegetables, whole grain shell pasta, baked chicken breast, chicken stock, and was seasoned with oregano, salt and lemon pepper spices. I topped mine with a bit of crushed tortilla strips and red pepper flakes. I have never made soup before, and even though it was pretty simple, it was really good! I had a grapefruit with my dinner. As dessert I had a cookie. I know that sounds like cheating but it fit into my points for weight watchers and I still had points left over. Around ten I had some sweet dreams tea with skim milk. I feel like I ate a ton today, but I also feel like it was mostly healthy food. I hope that joining weight watchers is a step in the right direction, and not a set back. Tomorrow I have to go to the gym all by myself, which I have never done. Here's hoping I can stay strong!
