Day 15

I woke up this morning (yay morning!) and the first thing that I did was weigh myself. I am very pleased to announce that since last Monday I have lost four pounds! I now weigh 238.4 lbs, which puts me (almost) on track with my original goals schedule. Hopefully by next week I will be ahead of schedule.


Anyways back to today, for breakfast this morning I had a jalapeno, mozzarella, and turkey omelette with a slice of whole grain bread. I ended up going shopping with Kylla for a few hours and didn't have lunch until late, but I had some leftover baked penne, and steamed edamame with sea salt. I went to the Colvin around six, and sadly it wasn't as empty as it was last time, but it was still nice not to have too many people around. While I was there I did 15 minutes of fat burn on the stationary bike, 15 minutes of cardio, and 5 minutes of cool down. Today's workout was pretty difficult for me to get through, probably because I am still sore from Saturday. After the bike I went on the StairMaster for ten minutes. Then I went downstairs and did 100 reps on one of the hip abductors, and 50 reps on the machine whose name I still don't know (the biceps/ triceps one). Next I used the AbCoaster, and finished by doing 40 sit ups on the upside down bench thing. For dinner I had taco salad with romaine, cilantro, jalapenos, salsa, ground turkey, black beans, tapatio, mozzarella, fat free sour cream, and two baked corn tortillas. For dessert I had the last serving of my Ben & Jerry's Greek FroYo.

We were celebrating Heather's (pictured center) birthday if that helps to explain the silly string. Kylla is on the right.

I'm not sure if it's really noticeable or not, but I definitely feel a difference in my body. I feel much stronger than I have before. I also feel like my arms and butt seem a little smaller. My work pants are a lot looser in the booty area too. I know this is just the beginning but I really so believe that this time I am going to make it!
