Day 22

The first thing I did this morning was weigh myself. I lost .2 lbs. (I now weigh 238.2) since last week, which isn't great -or nearly as good as I had hoped for- but at least I didn't gain. I also took my measurements, and there was more of an improvement there. Last week my measurements were 16.5 inch arms, 51.5 inch hips, 43 inch bust, 36 inch waist, and 31.5 inch thighs. This week my arms are 16 inches, hips are 50 inches, bust is 42 inches, waist is the same, and thighs are 31 inches. I'm not too excited about my bust being smaller, because it was already small to begin with, but I'm hoping what I lost was only in "back fat" rather than breast size (har har). It was sort of disenchanting to see such a small difference in my weight change, but seeing the difference in my measurements helps me feel that I am still making progress. Again I'm hoping that this week I see more changes in my body, and hope that I can continue to grow stronger. On Sunday we are going bridesmaid dress shopping. Kylla told me that there is a dress at the shop my dress color and size, so I will get to try on the actual dress. I'm hoping that that size (16) actually fits me, considering that both she and Rachael had to go up a dress size when trying on dresses there. Either way, I'm sort of worried about buying this dress now for her wedding in November, considering that I am hoping to be around 40 pounds lighter at that time. I'm sure it will turn out fine, though.

On to today... For breakfast I had a cup of Honey Bunches of oats with 3/4 cup of skim milk and two strawberries. As a snack at work I had a ham and swiss souffle (13 PointsPlus! Not worth it now knowing that.) and a frozen chai (made with half and half, not so healthy). For lunch I had a half fuji apple chicken salad, a cup of chicken tortilla soup, and an apple. For dinner I had breakfast quesadilla, two slices of turkey, a slice of provolone, a slice of pepper jack, two eggs, and tapatio on a whole wheat tortilla. As dessert I had a cup of Sunbelt Bakery granola with 3/4 cup of skim milk. I had planned to go to the gym today, but I was so tired after work that I ended up staying home. I'm really regretting this looking at my points today, because I went over my daily allowance by 25. I'm realizing that I definitely need to track throughout the day so I keep that budget in mind constantly. I'm not working tomorrow, so hopefully I can be really productive. I'm planning on working out first thing, going grocery shopping, and cleaning. I don't feel great about the last few days, but today I did have someone mention that I looked thinner which was great. Hopefully I can stay strong and keep moving forward. I know that my God is with me always, that He loves and supports me in everything that I do, and that with Him anything is possible.
