Day 7

Today had been completely exhausting! Between Heather's party last night, daylight savings time, and having to work at six thirty this morning, I got about three hours of sleep, but fortunately work was pretty decent. For breakfast I had a slice of leftover Hideaway pizza. During my break at work I had a frozen chai tea because my stomach was still cranky this morning. For lunch I had a chopped chicken Cobb salad with an asiago bagel. After that I decided to take a nap because I was totally wiped out. I have no idea how it is possible but waking up from my nap I felt even more tired than I had this morning! I really wanted just to keep sleeping but I had to get up so that I could get ready to go back to work for Bread Bash. I work at Panera Bread, by the way. During Bread Bash I had samples of our returning chicken tortilla soup, new Fuji turkey salad, new peach ginseng smoothie, our returning chocolate duet, focaccia bread, and our Cuban chicken panini. I also had some cheese and crackers, a lemon cupcake, and pop rocks! Okay, I know that sounds like a terrible amount of not so healthy food, but it wasn't a lot of each thing, and I didn't have any dinner besides that. Coupled with the fact that I didn't work out today it probably seems like I'm falling off of the wagon. I feel bad that I didn't work out today or yesterday, but I'm going to get a nice long work out tomorrow night, and I was on my feet all day both today and yesterday working. Tomorrow should be weigh in day, if I'm able to buy a decent scale from WalMart. Hopefully I see some results, but I'm trying to keep in mind my goals and not be disappointed if I don't see more than a pound lost. I have to keep in mind that what is important is making the changes necessary to live a healthy life, and feeling the confidence that these changes give me.
