Day 24
This morning, for one reason or another I decided to weigh myself. I know that I need to work on avoiding the scale except for weigh in days, because it is going to drive me crazy, but I swear it just stares at me when I go into the bathroom and wants me to weigh myself! So I did. And I was very pleased with what I saw! Today I weighed in at 235 lbs! This puts me just a little ahead of my original goals schedule, and it means that I have lost more than seven pounds! It was a great feeling to see that number, and feel strongly that I am forever kissing goodbye the terrible 240's. Today for lunch I had a quesadilla with a slice of provolone, a slice of pepper jack, two slices of turkey, and tapatio on a whole wheat tortilla. I also had steamed broccoli and carrots. A few hours later I had a salad with strawberries, gorgonzola, almonds, romaine, and raspberry walnut vinaigrette. For dinner at work I had a half thai chopped chicken salad, a cup of chicken tortilla soup, and an apple. We ended up being pretty bust at work, because there was a basketball game that we didn't know about. After I got off work I had two servings of wheat thins, a wedge of chipotle and queso fresco cheese, a wedge of tomato basil and mozzarella cheese, and a serving of Ben & Jerry's Raspberry Fudge Chunk Frozen Yogurt.
