Day 5

This morning I woke up before my alarm went off at 8:15! That probably doesn't seem like a big deal if you don't know me, but if you do you know that it really is. Anyways Destinee and I went to the Colvin at nine this morning and there was practically no one there. It was pretty fabulous I must say. We started on the stationary bikes for fifteen minutes and then headed downstairs to the machines. I worked my arms (I can't remember the names of the machines), then I used the hip abductors and worked my butt muscles. After that I used the row machine which seemed easy at the time but I can now feel its effects. Finally I did 20 crunches on the hanging bench thing. For some reason this seemed even harder than on Monday, and my feet kept slipping. We were at the gym for just under an hour, but I feel like I was very productive in that time. For brunch I had a slice of whole grain toast with crunchy peanut butter and a bag of Panera kettle chips. At work I had a sample of our frozen carmel, and once I got home I had a roasted turkey salad with tomatoes, and a blue cheese vinaigrette. I had a really great day and I attribute a lot of that to working out. Again, I know I have a long way to go, but I have never felt this positive about losing weight before and I am excited to see what the future holds!
